Joint Research Unit on Water, Energy, Environment and Disaster

This joint research unit supports the activities of the UNESCO Chair WENDI and promotes transdisciplinary education for sustainable development (HESD), UNESCO-IHP training courses, and international collaborative research and capacity development. Faculty members and researchers from diverse fields, including engineering, agriculture, energy science, disaster prevention, and sustainability studies, will work together to advance education and research on the water–energy–environment–disaster nexus.
