Earthquake off the Coast of Fukushima 16 March 2022

A M7.4 earthquake struck at a depth of 57km off the coast of Fukushima Prefecture at around 23:36 on 16 March 2022.  The Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University has started a disaster investigation on this event.

Please be careful about the occurrence of aftershocks and the surrounding conditions.
