(１) Lecturer No.1
Title：Fundamentals of Elastic Wave Propagation and Diffuse Fields
Brief content：Prof. Francisco Sanchez-Sesma of UNAM, Mexico, will provide a
lecture on the fundamentals of wave propagation and the Green's function.
With very intuitive arguments he will convey the idea of diffuse fields and
its implications for site effect investigation.
(２) Lecturer No.2
Title：Fundamentals of Strong Motion Prediction, with Special Reference to
Source Characteristics in the Extension Regime
Brief content：Prof. John G. Anderson of UNR, USA, will provide a lecture on
the recent progress of seismic observation and subsequent development of
ground motion prediction equations and its variabilities, with special
reference to the source terms of earthquakes occurring in the extension
regime.
