As DPRI celebrates its 65th year anniversary since its founding in 1951, DPRI is at the forefront of research in disaster prevention and mitigation.

 

To commemorate the occasion, DPRI will hold a special exhibition at the entrance exhibition area of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology-Japan (MEXT) from 27 April to 30 June 2016; and the 27th annual Public Lecture series which was started in 1990 for the purpose of sharing research results with the public. Both events will be held in Tokyo.
