Agreement of Cooperation singed between the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University and Kochi Prefecture

The Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University and the Kochi Prefecture signed an Agreement of Cooperation in the area of disaster prevention and disaster response concerning Nankai Trough earthquake or wind and flood damage. As part of the agreement, both parties agree to cooperate to increase Kochi Prefecture community awareness in disaster prevention research and education, and promote research that could contribute to measures against natural disasters.

The Agreement of Cooperation was signed on 25 February 2016.
