Congratulations to Graduate Student Junya Take on the Commendation from the Director-General of the Japan Meteorological Agency

Doctoral Student  Junya Take at Prof. Katsuya Yamori’s Laboratory at the Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University and an active employee of the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA)—has received a Commendation from the Director-General of the JMA.

This award recognizes his achievements of his doctoral research, specifically the creation of a new leaflet for disaster prevention weather information—developed through an iterative exchange of opinions between the target audience (users of disaster prevention weather information) and the disseminating body (the JMA)—and the compilation of this process and its results into a research paper.
