An Agreement of Cooperation and Partnership is Concluded with the Oyo Corporation

The Kyoto University Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI) and the OYO Corporation (Headquartered: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hirofumi Amano) concluded and an Agreement of comprehensive collaboration and partnerships on 1 August 2025.
This collaboration aims to develop technologies to predict various anticipated disasters, as well as disaster prevention and mitigation technologies, in light of the increasing severity and frequency of floods and landslides caused by recent climate phenomena, and the imminent risk of earthquakes caused by a major Nankai Trough earthquake and an earthquake directly beneath the capital of Tokyo. It also aims to contribute to the ongoing strengthening of national resilience and regional revitalization efforts.
Disaster Prevention Research Institute and OYO Corporation have collaborated for many years on the development of disaster prevention and mitigation technologies that contribute to national resilience and regional revitalization.
