[Abstract]
The guest lecture will involve the personal experience working with Integrated Emergency Management (IEM) that has evolved as a multidisciplinary approach to preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters. The speaker will speak about her experience on how funded research shape her research direction in the past, and influence her today and future research within this area. IEM among other things involve the integration of digital technologies, cross-sector collaboration, and resilience-building strategies.
