Congratulations to Assistant Professor Xu Peiliang on his appointment as Editor-in-Chief of Journal of Geodesy

In July 2023, Assistant Professor Xu Peiliang was elected as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Geodesy at the 28th International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) Congress held in Berlin, Germany.

at the 28th International Union of Geodesy and Geophysics (IUGG) Congress held in Berlin, Germany in July 2023, Assistant Professor Xu Peiliang was elected as the Editor-in-Chief of the Springer Journal of Geodesy

Assistant Professor Xu also gave an invited lecture entitled “From high-rate GNSS to technological invention of accelerometers” at the IUGG conference.

The Journal of Geodesy is one of the renowned academic journals of the International Geodesy Association.

Assistant Professor Xu’s appointment as Editor-in-Chief is the first appointment from Asia in the more than 100-year history of the International Geodesy Association. The term of office for the Editor-in-Chief is four years.
