DPRI representatives joined the climate research session at the 3rd Universität Hamburg – Kyoto University Symposium

The 3rd Universität Hamburg – Kyoto University Symposium was held at the University of Hamburg in Germany during 19 and 20 June 2023. Prof. Shabeh ul Hasson at the University of Hamburg and Prof. Tetsuya Takemi co-organized a climate research session, and Prof. Director Eiichi Nakakita and Assoc. Prof. Amin Chabchoub as well as Prof. Takemi attended the session from the DPRI side. During the session, both Hamburg and DPRI sides presented their research outcomes on climate change and extreme phenomena, future climate prediction and outlook, climate change adaptation, discussed about future directions of collaborative research, and deepened mutual understandings and exchanges.
