Title : Evacuation Activity after the Explosion of aluminum factory caused by 2018.7 Japan Flood
 
Abstract:
Industrial accidents may occur due to natural disasters, but there are few reports of the process and response. I report a case of explosion accident occurred at the aluminum factory in Okayama prefecture Sojya city in July 2018 due to heavy rain flooding. The residents of Shimohara area in the vicinity of the factory carried out evacuation actions in cooperation with the local organization and the administrative agencies based on the local disaster prevention efforts that had been undertaken before the disaster. However, there were issues such as providing information from the factory and collaboration among local governments.
