70th Anniversary of the Disaster Prevention Research Institute, Kyoto University

We take pleasure in sharing with you that the Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI) of Kyoto University will be celebrating the 70th Anniversary since its inception in 1951. We take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your significant contributions towards our research activities, and thereby helping us in our endeavor to be a Centre of Excellence in research for multidisciplinary disaster prevention study for the past 70 years. Without your generous support and trust in our research activities, we could not have achieved this milestone.
 
To celebrate this momentous juncture of 70-years, we are planning a commemorative ceremony to be held on Saturday, 27th November 2021 at the Clock Tower Centennial Hall, Kyoto University, Kyoto. In conjunction with the event, there will be other events which will be held on the 25th and the 26th November 2021. We cordially invite all our colleagues, students, friends, and all are related and involved in DPRI, near and far, including graduates and researchers who stayed with us through joint research programmes, to join us in this joyous occasion to celebrate the 70th anniversary of DPRI, Kyoto University. We hope you will make use of this occasion to renew relationships, share information of your current research activities, projects and achievements.
