I was curious about what shapes the land and how it changes. However, as a child, I never imagined becoming a geo-researcher; I honestly wanted to be a social activist.
研究者になったきっかけ
Raised in Nepal’s high mountains, I experienced the effects of geodisasters firsthand. This inspired me to study Earth science and work toward reducing disaster risks.
