Commomwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Australia Visits DPRICSIRO, Australia

Dr. Larry Marshal, Chief Executive, Mr. Nigel Warren, General Manager, Global; and Ms. Yuko Wakamatsu, Advisor, Global of Commomwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO), Australia paid a courtesy visit to Prof. Kaoru Takara, Deputy Executive Director, Uji Campus and Director, Disaster Prevention Research Institute (DPRI), Kyoto University, Uji Campus on 4 October 2016.  Prof. Takara outlined the activities and functions of DPRI. CSIRO team informed that they would host the IDRiM Society conference in Adelaide, Australia in October 2018 and invited DPRI to participate. At the request by CSIRO members, Prof. Takara gave a brief tour of the Uji Campus which included a visit to the DPRI Disaster Prevention/Simulation Museum at the Collaborative Research Hub Building.
